I just had to pull over on Old Street to lift this wee fella off the windscreen and deposit him into the grounds of the London Symphony Orchestra's rehearsal rooms. His free ride east stopped short, but It must be a much safer place to go than hopping off outside our house and taking his chances on Hackney Road.
Bodil (erstwhile Shelf girl , sadly went back to live in Sweden) and other half Charlie have a beautiful gallery near their home in Dalsland, Sweden.
The current show is 'Wild Things' showing the work of 24 international artists.
On until 22nd August, if anyone is nearby this summer.

men making chairs from scrap wood and some gardening going on as well.
its looking really good.
We'll show you inside some day soon.
Katy Hackney and Jane Petrie are co-owners of Shelf, a small shop in East London which opened its actual doors from 2001 to 2011. The virtual doors opened in 2009.
Always finding it difficult to explain the concept of the shop, this blog seemed like a good way of trying to answer that question; an exploration of things that interest Katy and Jane. Shelf itself sits somewhere in the middle of all this.
